Beyond necessity

Right, so yesterday I went to Hünkemoller to buy some new underwear (as one would most likely do when at Hünkemoller right?). But truth be told I didn’t actually need any new underwear as I have more than enough already but I just felt like it y’know. I ended up buying four sets! Four sets just because they happened to look very damn pretty. And then something dawned upon me; who actually gives a flying shit if I happen to be wearing pretty underwear? It’s not like anyone is ever going to actually see it so why do I insist on buying and wearing pretty things if all you ever might get to see is a slight glimpse of the straps of the bra? That’s just plain silly isn’t it? So, does this mean I’m having an epiphany here? Have I come to the realization that it’s a waste to spend money on something that just ends up being hidden underneath my clothing anyway? That I might as well stick to a few basics then? Well uh … hell no actually. Don’t ask me why but I just like to have nice underwear even if people won’t be able to appreciate my taste in it. It just makes me feel good y’know. Not good as in getting turned on by it but it just makes me feel pretty and confident. It seems to validate my femininity in a way. So yeah that makes me really not care that nobody can see it because just knowing that I look stylish underneath as well gives me a boost in confidence and therefore seems to aid me in my femininity. So that for me is reason enough to spend a little extra on what might actually seem rather stupid because after thinking about it for a while I had to come to the conclusion that it is actually not that stupid at all.

P.S.: Now please don’t get the idea that I go walking around with OTT elaborate frilly lingerie with garterbelts and such. I’m just talking about bra’s ‘n’ panties with nice prints and other touches. Just so you know : ).

PUMPS!!!

Well, I guess that just like any other tranny out there I love high heels in general. Hell, I even like those cute short lil’ heels. But there’s just something about pumps that I tend to go crazy for in particular. Be they open-toed or closed, classically black or brightly coloured, lacqued or matte, pointy or rounded, I just love them all.
I’m guessing it’s the sexy look they give my feet that just wins me over. Nothing screams ‘fuck me’ more than a half-bare foot with just the barest little hint of toes showing through. Not that I will ever allow you to fuck me though. But in lieu of that just be in awe at the thought of me walking by in my pumps/skinny jeans combo.
Oooh, I’m getting a bit cocky ain’t I? : )

PURSES!!!

Purses, the most functional of accessories. But that doesn’t mean they can’t be pretty as well. And the smaller, the better I say. Needless to say that the smallness causes a little drop in functionality, but fuck it, I just love those cute lil’ impractical things : ).

SKINNY JEANS!!!

I just luuuuuuuuv skinny jeans. They’re perfect for that casual look without having to suffer a dip in sexiness. Because however casual your outfit may be, skinny jeans will make you look like a fox. Figuratively speaking of course. Because looking like an actual fox would be kinda weird innit?

LIPSTICKS ‘N’ LIPGLOSSES!!!

Well which girl, T or not, doesn’t love to have a bit of colour on her lips? I sure do.

POWDERING!!!

While only being a merely functional step in the make-up process I do have to say I enjoy this part the most. I just adore the touch of that big soft brush on my skin (it’s so fluffyyyyyy). And my particular brand of powder has the most amazing heavenly scent you can imagine. It’s like a fancy brand perfume in a soft powdery form.
Powdering, for me, is an amazing stress-relief if I had a hard time making myself pretty. You know those days right? When you’re blotching eyeliner where it don’t belong, you botched your eyeshadow application, your lipstick skills makes your lips look assymetrical … in other words, you are reduced to nothing more than one big ball of stress.
For me that makes powdering off a relaxing conclusion to the make-up process that makes all the annoyances that went before dissapear like ice-cream before the sun. Though that’d be a waste of perfectly good ice cream isn’t it?

SOFA-TIME!!!

I’m a lazy bastard. No way around it. So whether it be with my girlfriend or when I’m on my own, I just love to watch some TV while stretched out on the sofa only barely conscious. And with a nice cosy blanket thank you very much.
I must admit it though, I sorta prefer it when I’m by myself as it allows me to be a lazy sod while being dressed up. Which makes it just a little nicer and cosier doesn’t it?

ENTOURAGE!!!

My favourite show on TV right now. It’s smart, funny and well written. The setting is realistic while still able to speak to the imagination and each of the characters is just as memorable and outstanding as the other making it hard to pick a favourite. That is if it weren’t for Jeremy Piven’s amazing portrayal of sarcastic super-dick Ari Gold. And no, he’s not a private detective nor is he well-hung as far as I know of. He just is an amazing dick of a man.
And I just love him for it.
Can’t wait for season 7!

JEWELRY!!!

A girl’s outfit is just incomplete without a bit of jewelry isn’t it? But I consider jewelry as more than just a finishing touch to my outfit. I just have such a fun time trying out all different kinds of jewelry and see which ones best fit my outfit.
That, and they make me feel very pretty of course.

NYLONS!!!

Well, with me being a tranny a love for nylons is a given of course. I love them in all their different colours and patterns. Be they transparent or opaque.
They’re not just functional, they’re a fashion statement!

THE COLOUR PURPLE!!!

Without doubt my favourite colour. Especially when it comes to fashion. It’s a typical girly colour but I find it to be much classier than the usual suspect, pink. Which I like as well but it can look a little cheap at times.
A bit too Barbie for me.

LEOPARD PRINTS!!!

The fashion hype of 2010 and hopefully still around for a whole lot longer because I’ll buy just about anything with a leopard print on it : D. I think I might even buy leopard print toilet paper should that exist.

NEW LOOK!!!

There’s a lot of stores that I like to shop at for clothes but it’s UK retail chain New Look that really sticks out for me. They’re always on the cutting edge of fashion but more affordable than any of the designer brands. I can find either pieces for a classic, casual, hipster or high fashion outfit there. Any style I love, they’ve got it there.
I adore their accessories such as purses and jewelry as well. And their shoes … well, let me just say that the majority of my shoes are from there.

BOYSHORTS!!!

Be it a basic model or something a little more refined, boyshorts are undoubtedly my favourite sort of briefs. In my opinion they exude more class than a thong while still being sexy nonetheless.

A CASUAL LOOK!!!

A casual look, in my opinion, is far too underrated in the T-community and too often wrongly associated with slobby. When done right it can still make you look feminine and sexy as fuck.
And it’ll make you stand out in the tranny crowd for sure.

THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!!!

Yeah, laugh all you want but the Turtles are my favourite piece of childhood nostalgia. There’s just something about brightly coloured amphibious reptiles with ninja training that remains cool to this day. The original and darker comics on which the show is based are still amongst my favorites.
Cowabunga!

VIDEO GAMES!!!

Despite a fond love for girly stuff I still have enough testosterone in my body to appreciate big-ass explosions, the spurting of blood, bullets whizzing around and generally just busting caps in random asses.
But I must say that the girl in me prefers her multiplayer of the nice and peaceful cooperative variation over the testosterone fueled macho-fest that is competitive deathmatch. Which is why Left4Dead is still a much played favourite in my gaming playlist.
That, and because of my undying love for all things zombie of course.

Felicity <3 nylons

11 Aug

Every crossdresser seems to have his/her own little fetish when it comes to our garments. Sure, when it comes to lingerie it’s exciting in general isn’t it? We just love it all. But each of us seems to have has his/her own thing that really sticks out. It stems from our humble beginnings as a crossdresser, the piece of clothing that kickstarted it all. For some it’s knickers, for others it can be shoes, leotards or whatever. For me, it all started with nylons. I was crazy about them. The fabric felt so great on my skin, so soft there was just no piece of boy’s clothing that could match the feel of pantyhose. It was like girls got all the good stuff. But I wasn’t going to let that stop me. Now, I have so many pantyhose and stockings, it’s just baffling. It takes the lion’s share of my collection really. I just love to browse my local department store for all kinds of nylons. More than shopping for any other piece of clothing this makes me feel like a kid in a candystore. I love all the colours and different motives. Only negative thing about it though is that I’ve developed quite an expensive taste when it comes to nylons. Plain nylons from the supermarket or drugstore just aren’t enough for me anymore. Once you’ve worn one of those fancy french brands from a department store you’re just hooked. So yeah, that’s my particular thing.

Greetings,
Felicity.

Oh boyshorts!

20 Jul

Me, I just love boyshorts. They’re without doubt my favourite kind of panties. They hug the ass so they show off the roundings of your bum without saying “Have you seen my ass? Here’s my ass! Can you see it? It’s those two orbs with the shoelace in between”. Like a thong would then. I don’t dislike thongs, I have quite a few in my collection, I just prefer the classy subtleness of the boyshorts. I do however hate those shoelace thongs. Just don’t quite get what they’re about.

Hugs ‘n’ kisses,
Felicity.

Empress’ new clothes

18 Jun

Hi all,

Went to H&M today. So excited. I bought some undies, bronzing powder ( curious as to how that’ll turn out), a new eyeshadow brush and an unbelievably cute Hello Kitty set. It’s a sleeveless top and pink hotpants. Sooo cute! I also bought some accesories like those flower hairclips and some hot ankle bracelets. I think I’ll post some pictures when I have the chance. Me’s very happy now!

Snuggles,
Felicity.

Shopping faves – Women’s Secret

15 Jun

So here it is, my first shopping fave. This one is my latest discovery, it’s a store called ‘Women’s Secret’, not to be confused with Victoria’s Secret, but yeah, they also sell women’s lingerie. This ranges from sexy lingerie to cute underwear, nightwear, beachwear and even some regular clothing. Although they don’t carry that much of regular clothing. I did however buy a cute dress and top there though. Women’s Secret is a chain store with stores just about anywhere as I could tell from the side of the bag I got. As far as I know they got two stores in Antwerp. The one I went to is in a shopping centre called ‘Stadsfeestzaal’ and is the larger one of the two. Not ‘that’ much larger but large enough to make it more comfortable to shop at as a man so that you’re not always directly visible from outside the store. They also have the more interesting selection even though there’s some overlap. It’s all in-house brand and it’s not too expensive compared to big brands or other chains like Hunkemoller yet the quality seems comparable to me. I go there during working hours which makes for comfortable shopping. Not too busy then. What I also like there is the audience which goes from young adults and upwards. I cannot stress enough about how much I like this. You might know the feeling. Me, I just love to shop at stores like New Look and H&M. I love their clothes and accessories. Especially New Look. But it’s so annoying to shop there when you’re constantly trying to avoid 16 year old schoolgirls. You know, the gigling, loud types. They make me so nervous and trust me, when I shop for women’s clothing I’m nervous enough as it is. That’s what I love about Women’s Secret. I find it much more relaxing to shop there. This is greatly enhanced by the girls who work there. So there you are with a shitload of lingerie and a dress and she says totally unfazed “Is it a gift sir?”. She cannot be that naive right? Of course she’s not, they’re just that subtle, which really helps make you feel at ease and makes you want to come back. They’re really friendly girls with a professional attitude. So yeah, definetely a fave of mine. If you live near Antwerp or ever decide to go there you should check it out. Maybe you have one where you live. If so, I’d love to hear about your experience with that one.

Love,
Felicity.
